• Light Exposure: The Copper Sedum thrives in full sun to partial shade, with its copper coloring becoming more pronounced in direct sunlight. Aim for at least 6 hours of sunlight per day to maintain its vibrant hues. However, it can also adapt to lower light conditions if necessary.
• Watering Needs: This drought-tolerant plant requires minimal watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to avoid root rot. In warmer months, water approximately once every 10 to 14 days. During cooler seasons, watering can be reduced to once a month.
• Soil Requirements: Plant the Copper Sedum in well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix, to prevent water retention. This plant does best in slightly sandy soils, mimicking its natural environment, and will struggle in heavy or clay-like soils.
• Flowering: In the spring, the Copper Sedum produces small, star-shaped white or yellow flowers that grow in clusters at the tips of its stems.
